I learnt a lot of new words in the literary devices, such as gustatory, kinesthetic, oxymoron and many more. Understanding words is very important, because you will not get what it means if you do not understand it fully.

I also learnt how authors tend to add these literary devices to their poems or peotry to make it more interesting. It's very creative. For example, an author can repeat the same words to stress its importance. It can also describe something in a vivid and detailed way, this way readers can imagine the image the narrator is trying to depict.
