Learning Log 1
What have you learnt about Cinquain?

I learnt that the word 'Cinquain' is a french word and it means 'a five-line poem'. It only uses a couple of words per lines and it is quite easy. Cinquain describes someone or something in a fast, and easy way to understand. In Cinquain, lines generally do not rhyme so it makes it easy.

Comments about the lesson.

The lesson was really fun, as we were all gathered into groups of four. We bonded with one another, and communicated well. If we do not understand something, at least we can ask one another. The lesson overall, taught us alot of things as every group got to share their own cinquain and some of them were really unique. Also, it allows us to think out of the box and share ideas. Cinquain is easy, so it's simple and manageable for everyone to do.

Suggestions for improvement.

I think that teachers should let pupils do the cinquain on their own so that we can spot one's weakness. Teachers should call out the pupils one by one to let them present their work. This way, we can have different opinions and rooms for improvement. But overall, I think the lesson was really fun.
